Early socialization

Importance of socialization- The training of this dog should be started as early as possible. If possible, these dogs should be trained in childhood itself, then they learn quickly because these dogs are naturally very protective and  very fearful and aggressive. You should  train the dog so that he can become more confident and can meet people and adjust with people.

How to socialize- Try to make your dog meet new people. You should introduce him to new people yourself so that he can stop barking to strangers. Take your dog to new places, make him visit different places so that he doesn't feel confined in one place and doesn't feel frustrated. When he roams around, he will feel good, feel fresh and remain stress free. And one more thing, whenever your dog behaves well with you or behaves friendly, then you should praise it. Your dog will feel like a reward and it will be happy.

Basic commands

There is an important command: sit, stay  and come. This is an important command for the dog. Train with this basic command as much as possible so that the dog can follow it properly.

Sit- First of all you should start with giving the dog a biscuit. You should keep the biscuit in a plate and put it on the ground, this will ensure that the dog will have to sit down to eat the biscuit and tell him to sit. If you do this then he will sit.

Stay- you command the dog to sit. You should keep commanding to sit several times by saying sit. When you do this repeatedly, the dog will get used to listening to sit. And you yourself should also sit in front of the dog two-three times and tell it that you are telling it to sit so that the dog will sit looking at you. You will be able to see what to do by saying sit. Then  You signal with your hand to sit and after some time you keep a little distance from the dog for some time and then you let the dog sit in the same place.

Come- call your dog with a hand gesture to come here. When you repeat this again and again, the dog will get used to it, and whenever he comes in front of you, you should praise the dog so that the dog understands that by saying come here, he has to go to the owner to  get praise.

Advance training

Advance training comes after the basic training first of all you have to train the dog with the dog's leash and after that you have to train the dog without the leash so that initially when you train it wearing the leash, it will be easy for you to handle the dog and when the dog gets trained well with the leash, after that you take out its leash and go to an open field or  any such place where the dog feels safe so that when you take out the dog's leash, dog cannot cause any harm to anyone. Read the instructions given below carefully that What you have to do

First of all, in the initial days, you make the dog wear a dog chain or leash because you will not be able to handle him, you should make him wear the collar so that he gets used to it. Signal him to come near you again and again so that the dog understands your gesture quickly and when he comes near you, reward him. Praise the dog so that he can be happy.

Then when he learns the basic training, you take him to an open place and open the dog chain and you go a little far and signal him to come near you. Keep in mind that this You should adopt the method of opening the leash only when the dog has learnt the basic training, only then you should go to the open field and open the chain of the dog, if you do not do this then the dog can harm any stranger

Behavioral training

Handling aggression You should spend as much time as you can with your dog. The more time you spend with him, the more you will get to know when your dog gets angry. What actions make your dog angry? You should find out what happens that your dog starts getting angry.

Whenever your dog behaves calmly or behaves well, you should praise him. By doing this, your dog will get to know that the owner praises me for keeping a calm behavior and whenever he gets angry, the owner sometimes scolds me. Yes, I am not saying that you should scold your dog but if he breaks things then you should scold him a little so that he does not repeat such acts and whenever he behaves well then you should also praise him.

If you have still tried a lot to calm your dog's anger and still your dog's anger is not calming down then you should give professional training to your dog or leave him to train with a professional.

Dealing with separation anxiety Sometimes such a time will also come that you have to stay away from your dog for some reason. You may have to go far away, so at such times the dog may feel anxiety and stress that where has his owner gone, so in such a situation you have to start by leaving the house with the dog for some time and gradually increase the time, by doing this the dog will get used to staying alone in the house sometimes.

Whenever you go far away from home, give the dog its favorite toy or blanket or any such thing that the dog likes, so that he can play with it and pass its time.

exercise your dog. Make sure that the dog exercises,so that he can feels stress free and relaxed. When the dog is relaxed, he will not be aggressive and will not feel anxious.

Conclusion

The owner of a German Shepherd gets the reward for his training  only when he trains the dog with a lot of patience and consistency and also praises the dog. It is very important to command and socialize a dog properly so that the dog can learn to socialize well and does not become aggressive. Training any dog does not mean that the dog should learn to follow commands. Training a dog means that you can build a good life long relationship with your dog.
