Well they have the natural tendency to Guard they are naturally very strong and they have this natural characteristics in them to protect the surrounding wherever they live they protect their owner from the thieves and Robbers it is not easy to enter in the house where the German Shepherd live because any strange activity happens near the German Shepherd they get alert very quickly and they give the warning sign, the dog bark to make the strangers alert that he is inside he is their to protect the surrounding so be careful.

Many often German Shepherd also bark to attract the attention, dogs are very intelligent and also they are social sometimes the owner of the dog may not give enough attention to the dog so they feel insecure about it so dog just bark to gain the attention back

When they have not done there physical exercise properly they get bored they get stress and anxiety because of not doing any activity so they find that barking is a activity through which they can release the energy out of their body so make sure that your dog have enough of his physical exercise because if he will get bore sitting at one place for a long time it has a surety that he will bark  anyway

If there is any kind of Worries or stress the dog will still bark and also if dog find out that there is a certain changes in the environment where he is living, he barks out because dog seems worried that what has just happened that environment is not the same even if any person in the house is missing he barks out because in the surrounding dog is missing the person whom he used to see regularly

And one more important point is that we have our mouth to speak. We know a certain language through which we can communicate but dogs have the only source of communication. we may not understand the language of barking but dogs communicate through it, Just imagine how humans talk similar way dogs talk through bark

Be it German Shepherd or any other dog they love their place more than anything and if they ever notice that any other dog any others strange  person is coming to their place then they become alert and they start barking they are warning the other person that he is around and be careful before harming to any other person around German Shepherd

Sometimes if the dog seems to have any kind of discomfort or some kind of pain somewhere in the body because of which dog is feeling uncomfortable so he barks to release the pain which is inside the body so you should keep on checking your dog that your dog is free from all the health problems
